As I was picking up my craft room, I found a neglected Fair Isle sock in need of mending. I held my hard-working, faithful sock for a while and admired both the colors and the thick/thin patterning of the motifs (and then I put it back without mending it...that's a fall task and summer is coming!)
I did, however, dye this yarn in the sock's honor. It hast random thick and thin stripes of deep teal and plum, an airy French vanilla, and two shades of gold.
This is a non-repeatable colorway, which means I don't have the formula to dye it again! Once these skeins are gone, they are gone! It also means that I can't dye matching minis for it.
